On November 23, 2017, Shelbyon Polk, aged 19, was found dead in a vacant yard on Burd Street in St. Louis, Missouri. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots at around 10:30 p.m. the previous night. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Polk's body in the yard, and he appeared to have suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death is ongoing, but no suspects have been identified or apprehended so far.
