Matthew Scott De La Garza, a 37-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, was tragically killed on April 23, 2014. He was found shot and unconscious on Preston Oaks Road, near the Galleria Mall, early in the morning. De La Garza had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Medical City Hospital shortly after being discovered. He was a father of two daughters, a teenager and an 8-year-old.
