In the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood of North St. Louis, a grim discovery was made on the evening of November 17, 2009. Responding to a call around 9:30 p.m., authorities found the body of 29-year-old Mario Resean Williams. An African-American male, Williams had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
