Donald Frazier, a 69-year-old male pastor and gospel musician, was tragically shot and killed on July 4, 2014, in his home in Harris, Texas. The incident occurred during a burglary when Daniel Travis Durham, a 30-year-old male, broke into Frazier's home in the Deerfield Village subdivision. Durham cut off the power to the house, which triggered a backup generator and woke Frazier and his wife. Frazier, armed with his handgun, went to investigate and encountered Durham in the backyard.
