Omar Ruiz, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2014, in Weir, Texas. He was killed during a party at a trailer park in Williamson County on Thanksgiving Day. The incident occurred when Jose Benitez, a line cook at Dos Salsas restaurant in Cedar Park, where both Ruiz and the other victim, Yazmin Corona, worked, shot and killed them.
