Takita Kyshawn Mathieu, a 26-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on February 18, 2015, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at her workplace, The Greenbriar Apartments, located near the Texas Medical Center. According to reports, Takita had ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend four months prior to the incident.
