Samira Siwakoti, a 31-year-old woman of Nepalese ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on June 10, 2015, while working at the convenience store she owned with her husband in The Colony, Texas. The incident occurred during an armed robbery, where the suspect, Deon Kingston Jr., a 19-year-old male, entered the store, stole money from the register, and then shot Samira Siwakoti in the face, resulting in her immediate death.
