Tyler Hatfield, a 31-year-old male from Sugar Land, Texas, died on September 24, 2015, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Tyler and his mother, Beverly Hatfield, 61, were found dead inside The Crescent nursing home in Sugar Land. Both had gunshot wounds to the head. According to police, Tyler shot his mother, who was in a vegetative state, before turning the gun on himself.
