Upon arrival, they found that Rhonda had been shot once and was pronounced dead at Denton Regional Medical Center. The suspect, identified as Rhonda's husband, Wilford "Nemo" Holmes, had driven his pickup truck into a driveway, striking two vehicles before shooting Rhonda. After shooting his wife, Nemo Holmes shot himself and was transported to Plano Medical Center, where he was still alive at the time of the report.
