Carmen Danielle Morris, a 23-year-old woman from Palestine, Texas, tragically died on March 19, 2016. She was fatally shot in the head by an accidental rifle discharge from an 8-year-old child who picked up the weapon while Carmen's husband was cleaning guns in another room. The incident occurred at the couple's home, and despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a hospital, Carmen succumbed to her injuries.
