Mark Anthony Macias Jr., a 25-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, was found dead on July 2, 2016, in South Bexar County, Texas. He was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds on the side of a rural road near Spanish Grant Road and Loop 1604. Macias was a veteran who had served in Afghanistan and returned home with post-traumatic stress disorder. Despite his struggles, he was enrolled in college and trying to rebuild his life.
