On August 27, 2011, 24-year-old Donveion Williams was shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. Williams was driving west on West Florissant Avenue, near Bellefontaine Cemetery, when he was targeted in a drive-by shooting. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
