Rickey J. King, aged 17, was tragically shot and killed on November 19, 2011, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near the intersection of 53rd Street and Brooklyn Avenue. Rickey King, who was preparing to enlist in the military, was found after being shot while walking home late at night. His mother, along with family and friends, remembered him as a bright and motivated young man.
