Patricia Ann Baze Marquez, a 59-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity from Seminole, Texas, tragically lost her life on March 4, 2017. She was fatally shot in the head during a violent incident that began as a domestic altercation. The incident escalated when Jacob R. Groening, her son-in-law, allegedly threatened and later shot his wife, Patricia's daughter, in the hand. Patricia was caught in the crossfire and succumbed to her injuries.
