Moses Prieto, a 23-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity from Fort Worth, TX, tragically died on March 15, 2017. The circumstances surrounding his death were investigated as a murder case.

Juan Jesus Villarreal was implicated in the case. Villarreal admitted to being present when Moses was shot but denied shooting him. He also confessed to helping remove Moses from the car after the shooting. Villarreal was indicted for capital murder, but the State waived the death penalty.
