Edgar Ramirez, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2017, in Crowley, Texas. Ramirez was found dead alongside 19-year-old Matthew Lemus in a roadway in the 700 block of Hutchins Drive. Both victims had been shot, and their deaths were ruled as homicides.

The investigation into their deaths led to the arrest of two Fort Worth men, Kyle Mathis Otey and Shailen Alexander Chowdhury, both 20 years old. The suspects were charged with capital murder and later releas ...
