Darryl Haywood, a 26-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was killed in an ambush on August 11, 2012. The incident took place in the 5500 block of Bartmer Avenue in north St. Louis. Reports indicate that Haywood was found shot to death outside of his car around 11:00 p.m. The circumstances of his death suggest a targeted attack, but no suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains open.
