Kiesha Price, a 30-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 5, 2018, in Houston, Texas. She was killed during an attempted carjacking at a gas station in the Alief area of southwest Houston. Price was with her boyfriend and his uncle at the time, and while they went inside the store, she stayed in the car. Surveillance footage shows two men approaching the car on bicycles, with one of them opening the back driver's side door and shooting Price.
