Sabika Sheikh, a 17-year-old Pakistani exchange student, tragically lost her life on May 18, 2018, during a mass shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas. She had been in the United States as part of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study program, and had dreams of joining Pakistan's foreign service. Sabika was known for her kind and loving nature, and her death deeply affected both her host family and the local community.
