On July 24, 2018, 16-year-old Regan Pfaff, a female student at Montgomery High School in Conroe, Texas, tragically lost her life. She was killed in an apartment at the Anatole at the Pines complex while taking selfies with a loaded gun that accidentally discharged, striking her in the head. The incident occurred around 4 p.m., and Regan was pronounced dead at the scene.
