Isabella Perez, a 15-year-old Hispanic girl from Katy, Texas, tragically lost her life on November 4, 2018. She, along with her 14-year-old sister Maria Perez and their stepfather Victor Portillo, were found shot to death in their home. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide, with Victor Portillo allegedly shooting his stepdaughters before turning the gun on himself.
