Julianna Wright Carr, a 48-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on July 3, 2019, in Katy, Texas. She was fatally shot by her brother, John Wright, during a housewarming party at her new home. The incident also resulted in injuries to three other people who were present at the party. John Wright, after shooting his sister, took his own life at a nearby hospital.
