On October 17, 2013, Aaron Leroy Jones, also known as "BA," was shot and killed in the 700 block of Bittner in St. Louis, Missouri. According to eyewitness accounts, a Silver or Gray Chevy Impala approached Jones, and an unidentified Black male in his early 30s fired at him from within the vehicle. The assailant was described as wearing a black skull cap, black pants, and a black jacket. Jones was struck in the chest, and the Impala quickly drove away, disappearing from the scene.
