Jashawn Dameron, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on April 13, 2019, in Colorado City, Texas. The incident occurred when Dameron was riding in a car with a group of friends. Devante Martise Emerson, 19, who was sitting in the back seat, was mishandling a revolver when it accidentally discharged, hitting Dameron in the back. Dameron was taken to Mitchell County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
