On the night of December 21, 2013, in the North Riverfront neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, a violent act of road-based aggression claimed the life of a local man. Cory Johnson, a 39-year-old male, was navigating the streets of St. Louis late that Saturday evening, traveling northbound on North Broadway. As he approached the intersection with Switzer Avenue, near the perimeter of the Calvary Cemetery, his journey was abruptly and fatally interrupted by the occupants of another vehicle.
