Ivory T.J. West Jr., a 2-year-old boy, tragically lost his life on July 2, 2019, in Spring, Texas. Ivory was with his father, Ivory West Sr., and a family friend in the garage of their apartment when two armed men attempted to rob them. The suspects demanded money, and when Ivory's father tried to run, he was shot multiple times. Ivory was shot and killed at the scene, while his father and the family friend sustained injuries.
