Oluwafemi Joseph Ogundana, a 67-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on August 20, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Harbor Road in the Oak Cliff neighborhood. Ogundana was found in his car with multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at Methodist Central Hospital.
The investigation revealed that Ogundana had arranged to sell a cellphone to 18-year-old Terrius Randolph.
Randolph, who was part of a street gang known as "Jugg Team," allegedly used a fake name on the app "Letgo" to set up the meeting. Witnesses reported seeing Randolph approach Ogundana's car, get into the vehicle, and then an argument ensued. Shortly after, a gunshot was heard, and Ogundana was seen driving a few feet before being shot multiple times by Randolph.
Randolph fled the scene and ran into a nearby house. SWAT teams were called in, but they were unable to locate him at the residence. Randolph was later identified in a photo lineup by a witness and was charged with capital murder. He was already in jail for unrelated charges at the time of his arrest.
