Francis Hazzard, a 68-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on October 24, 2019, while working as an armored truck security guard for Loomis Cash Handling Company in Houston, TX. Hazzard was attacked by three armed suspects as he exited a Popeyes restaurant on Antoine Drive with a money bag. The suspects demanded the bag, and during the struggle, one of them shot Hazzard in the face at point-blank range. Despite his efforts, Hazzard succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
