Melissa Perez-Villagrana, a 38-year-old Hispanic woman from Kerrville, Texas, tragically lost her life on November 19, 2019. She was fatally shot by her coworker, Fernando Rolon, in the parking lot of a Walmart in Kerrville. The incident led to a 16-hour standoff with police at the Rio 10 Theater, where Rolon eventually took his own life.
