On December 8, 2019, 22-year-old Mohamed Abdi Mohamed, a Black male, was fatally shot in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. Mohamed was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect at the parking lot of a 24-Hour Store located at 8455 Park Lane, near Hemlock Avenue. During the altercation, a second unknown suspect shot Mohamed, and both suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Mohamed was pronounced deceased at the scene.
