Spc. Shelby Tyler Jones, a 20-year-old male soldier was tragically shot and killed on March 1, 2020, in Killeen, Texas. He was a member of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood and had served in the Army since May 2017. Jones was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound at 3:45 a.m. outside a convenience store on Fort Hood Street. However, the investigation revealed that the shooting occurred about 40 minutes earlier at Club Dreams, a strip club located roughly half a mile away.
