On May 2, 2020, Darren Meeks, a 21-year-old male from San Antonio, TX, was fatally shot along with Chance Zachry Seiter, also 21, during what appeared to be a drug deal gone wrong. The incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Jackson-Keller Road. Both victims were found deceased inside a silver Kia, having sustained gunshot wounds to the head.
