On the evening of October 15, 2020, in Houston, Texas, a series of events led to the tragic death of 36-year-old African American male, Jatory Wills. At approximately 7:20 p.m., near the 4200 block of South Kirkwood Drive, Derrick Pearson, 32, allegedly approached a man and robbed him at gunpoint.
