Rachel Marie Reeder, a 27-year-old woman from Fort Worth, tragically lost her life on October 22, 2020, in Hillsboro, Texas. She was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Walmart in Hillsboro. The incident occurred around 6:04 p.m. when a confrontation led to the discharge of a firearm, striking Reeder while she was in a vehicle. Despite being airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waco for treatment, she succumbed to her injuries later that evening.
