Ernesto Carlos Aguilar Vasquez, a 32-year-old man of Cuban ethnicity, tragically lost his life on November 25, 2020, in Houston, Texas. Vasquez was killed in a violent incident that stemmed from a custody dispute involving his ex-wife, Iluminada Marrerro Perdoma, and her new boyfriend, Leonardo Llanes. The dispute escalated when Llanes, angered by Perdoma's plans to pick up their young son earlier than expected, shot Vasquez in the parking lot of their southwest Houston apartment complex.
