Luis Ortiz, a 25-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot to death on December 18, 2020, in New Caney, Texas. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when Ortiz accompanied his girlfriend to her ex-husband's house to pick up her three children. The ex-husband, Randy Estrada, 34, confronted Ortiz, leading to a physical altercation between the two men. During the fight, Estrada shot Ortiz, resulting in his death. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene. ...
