Jonathan Tisby, a 30-year-old male, tragically died on January 12, 2021, in Highlands, TX. His death was the result of a murder committed by Fransha Brooks, who confessed to shooting him multiple times and then driving his car into a canal. The incident occurred after an argument, and Tisby's body was discovered in the car two days later when authorities located the submerged vehicle.
Fransha Brooks, a 32-year-old woman, was arrested and charged with murder.
She was booked into the Harris County Jail and faced charges in the 180th District Court. The investigation was led by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit, which worked in conjunction with the Marine Unit to recover Tisby's body from the canal.
