Ibrahim Malik Suarez, a 37-year-old Black man from San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 9, 2021, in a racially motivated shooting. The incident occurred during an argument at a gas station in Converse, Texas. Suarez was involved in a verbal confrontation with Christopher Lee Powell, a 36-year-old white Texas Army veteran.
