Gabriel Alexander Moriones Vargas, a 28-year-old Colombian man, tragically lost his life on July 8, 2021, in Houston, Texas. He was visiting Houston from New York with his wife when the incident occurred at the Downtown Aquarium. The couple was enjoying dinner when Danny Garcia Cazares, a 39-year-old man with a criminal history, approached them and opened fire. Gabriel was fatally shot and died on the scene, while his wife sustained a gunshot wound to the leg but survived.
