Jonathon Cain Segura, a 22-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2021, in Eagle Lake, Texas. Segura, who had recently returned from serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, was shot and killed while sleeping on the couch in his living room. The incident occurred when Dante Larenz Stevens, a 28-year-old man from Garwood, broke into Segura's home and fired four shots at him.
