In the early morning hours of a Sunday in December 2015, the sound of gunshots pierced the quiet of a Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood. When police responded to the 3400 block of Park Avenue around 4 a.m., they discovered the body of Parker Willingham, a 31-year-old man, lying in the driveway of a residence.
