William Wade Pierce, a 48-year-old man from Huntington, Texas, was found deceased on October 24, 2021, off Gillian Creek Road near Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The Angelina County Sheriff's Office determined his death to be a homicide based on the investigation and autopsy results. Pierce was discovered lying off the roadside, and authorities believe he was killed before being moved to the location where he was found.
