Patrick Gene Tobias, a 58-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically died on November 27, 2021, in Kingwood, TX. He was a US Navy veteran and a father to a 15-year-old daughter. The incident occurred at the Cortland Town Center apartments in the 2700 block of Bens Branch. Tobias was shot and killed by his neighbor, Tyler Binette, during an altercation that arose when Tobias attempted to intervene in a fight between Binette and Binette's roommate, Logan Goldsmith.
