On November 28, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas, 3-year-old African American female, Cassity Shree Lashara Jackson, suffered a fatal gunshot wound. According to reports, Cassity was in a car with her father at the Fort Worth Stockyards when the incident occurred. Following the shooting, her father carried her into the Tarrant County Jail seeking immediate assistance.
