On January 6, 2022, Andrew Armonta, a 23-year-old male from Midlothian, Texas, tragically lost his life in a murder-suicide incident at the Lakeside Villas Apartment Community in Midlothian. Andrew Armonta, along with 49-year-old Janet Evelyn Lee, was fatally shot by 43-year-old Edsel Collazo, who then turned the gun on himself. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., and responding officers found the three victims inside an apartment after neighbors reported hearing a disturbance and gunshots.
