Denise Nobles Wells, a 63-year-old woman from Navasota, Texas, tragically passed away on January 13, 2022. She was fatally shot during an overnight incident at her residence on the 900 block of Millican Street. According to Navasota Police Chief Shawn Myatt, officers responded to a report of shots fired around 1:30 a.m. Initial reports indicated that an intruder kicked in the door and began firing, prompting an exchange of gunfire.
