On February 15, 2022, Alvaro Israel Martinez, a 23-year-old Hispanic male from Tyler, Texas, tragically lost his life in a double homicide-suicide incident at the LaQuinta Inn on South Broadway in Tyler. Martinez was found dead inside a truck with multiple gunshot wounds, alongside Grasiela De Paz Rodriguez, a 34-year-old Hispanic female from Tyler.
