Cleophus Ray Webster, a 48-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Hearne, Texas, tragically passed away on April 17, 2022. He was fatally shot in the 300 block of North Colorado Street in Hearne. The incident occurred on Easter Sunday, and Webster was found with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
