On May 14, 2022, Dario Morales, a 34-year-old man from Kilgore, Texas, was found dead in his driveway with an apparent gunshot wound. Kilgore Police Department officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 800 block of Sceyne Road around 6 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered Morales lying in his driveway and pronounced him dead shortly after by EMS staff.
