Ashley Nicole Schaeffer, a 35-year-old woman from Diboll, Texas, was tragically found dead on July 24, 2022, in the early morning hours on Burkhalter Hollow. Her death was ruled a homicide during the initial investigation. The Angelina County Sheriff's Office, along with the Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety, conducted a thorough investigation that led to the arrest of three individuals: Breana Green, Victor Lee , and Wade Finley. All three have been charged with murder.
